Mrs Blair supports sailing charity

CHERIE BLAIR was one of the guests at a reception given by the Trinity Sailing Trust late last month.
The Trust, which is based in Devon, helps disadvantaged and disabled young people to experience the thrill of offshore sailing on traditional boats.
Mrs Blair, who was celebrating her birthday, met Eric Hotung, the Catholic multi-billionaire, and Fr Michael Seed, a priest based at Westminster Cathedral, at the event at St Katherine’s Dock, East London, on September 23.
The trust operates three vessels: the former sailing trawlers “Leader” and “Provident” and the gaff cutter “Golden Vanity”.
