White Fathers leave Algeria

THE White Fathers. who Some
years ago moved their Motherhouse from Algiers to Rome, have now moved their oldest novitiate -at the historic Maison Carrecto an estate in France, ahout 230 miles north of Marseilles.
The novitiate has been moved to make way for the expansion of the North African College which has long shared the same grounds. The novitiate will now be limited to students from France.
The Maison Carrde was built for the Society when it was founded in 1868 by the first Archbishop of Algiers, Cardinal Lavigeria.
