Papal Curia meets
For Rome campaign
FOR the first time in modern his
tory. all the prelates, priests and laymen engaged in the work of the Roman Curia, the agencies through which the Holy Father exercises his universal jurisdiction, gathered together on Tuesday in the Apostolic Chancellery.
The meeting was called by Mgr. Ottaviani, Assessor of the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office, to hear the Pope's Vicar General. Cardinal Micara, explain how each can cooperate in and contribute to the complete spiritual revival which the Holy Father called for in his recent broadcast to the Romans.
The prelates, 'priests and laymen came from the 12 Sacred Congregations. the Papal Secretariat of State. the three Papal law courts and other offices.
