Nazis Infuriated by Adamant Belgian Priests

The stubbornness of the Catholic clergy in Belgium in refusing to allow propaganda to be mixed up with church services is infuriating Nazis and their Belgian followers.
Despite heavy pressure put upon priests, they are adamant in refusing the Belgian flag to be displayed or the national anthem to be Sting at services for Rexists fallen on the Eastern Front.
Pays Reel indignantly quotes the case of " the clergy fanning the flames of hatred by their conduct. One priest had refused to sing the absolution at a service for a dead Legionary; another white ready. to officiate at such a service refused to utter the formula ' He died for God, for Belgium, and for Europe.' Such conduct," states the paper, " might well provoke an outburst of anti-Clericalism."
