Shake-up for clergy in London

THE NEW director of Westminster's in-service training programme for priests is to be Fr Philip Blandford, a Clare' jail.
Fr Blandford takes c :rom Fr Gerard Burke who ,,,ioted a new scheme for priestly formation using techniques brought from America which involved the use of computerstyle questionnaires.
A Catholic observer at this week's World Council of Churches assembly at Vancouver, Fr Michael Munnelly, takes over as secretary to the diocesan ecumenical commission in Westminster. He replaces Fr Herbert Keldany.
Another long-serving diocesan official also stands down in the present round of appointments. Canon Harold Winstone is giving up the directorship of the St Thomas More Centre for Pastoral Liturgy in North London.
