Sunday, November 6: Visitation and Confirmation at Kingsbury, 4 p.m. Visitation and Confirmation at Ponder's End, 7 p.m.
Tuesday, November 8: Cathedral Hall: Presides at meeting of nuns, 3.30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 9: Cathedral Hall: Attends Exhibition Catholic Film Society, 8 p.m.
Thursday, November 10: Commercial Road : Presents prizes, St. Bernard's Central School, 5 p.m.
Friday, November 11: Cathedral : Assists at Requiem Mass, 10.50 a.m.
SOUTHWARK The following engagements for Mgr. Peter Amigo, Archbishop Bishop of Southwark, arc announced from Bishop's House today: Sunday, November 6: Assists at Solemn Mass at 11 at St. Mary's, West Croydon, and preaches on the occasion of the Centenary of the foundation of the mission. Attends luncheon after the Mass. Visitation at Worcester Park at 6.30.
Tuesday, November 8: Visitation at Chatham.
Wednesday, November 9: Preside at the annual meeting of the Catholic Needlework Guild at Notre Dame Convent, St. George's Road, S.E.1, at 3.30.
Thursday, November 10: Visitation at Canterbury.
Friday, November 11: Presides at the annual meeting of the Catholic Nurses' Guild at Notre Dame Convent, Southwark at 6.
Saturday, November 12: Presides at the Diocesan Inter-Guild Meeting of the Catholic Evidence Guild at Lewisham, 8 p.m. NORTHAMPTON Mgr. Laurence Youens, Bishop of Northampton, paid a visit to Newmarket and its district for the Feast of Christ the King. He said the 8.30 Mass in the church and in the afternoon visited the newly erected chapel at Haverhill. Th.:. Bishop addressed the congregation here on the great gift of faith, and before leaving he was entertained at the house of Mrs Miller, where Mass was said for fourteen years.
At 7 p.m. his Lordship administered the Sacrament of Confirmation in the new chapel.
On the Monday morning the Bishop said Mass at the Convent. Every classroom was visited, and as the Bishop's car left. the children lined the drive, waving papal flags and cheering again and again.
