Abbey welcomes retreatants

THE BENEDICTINE monks of Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin organised a six-day "monastic experience retreat" for Catholic men at the start of September.
Nine men aged between 18 and 40, from Scotland, England and Poland, came to the abbey to live the life of a monlc, sharing in the brothers' prayer and work from Vigils at 4:45 am to Cornpline at 8 pm.
