High Award For Sir Giles Gilbert Scott

Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. architect of Liverpool Cathedral, has been awarded the Royal Society of Arts Gold Medal for 1949 as " builder of a lasting heritage for Britain." The award was made with the approval of Princess Elizabeth. President of the Society. who will present it on July 11.
