FFFT ING BORED? TAKE a trip into Christian cyberspace. In an attempt to reverse a moral demise, caused many believe by society's exposure to violent videos, Wisdom Tree software in the US have launched Christian video games promising to "emphasise positive family values", as well as develop "fine motor coordination and reading skills".
"It's tough out there and just keeps getting tougher, but equipped with the power of God you can defeat your foes, convert non-believers and defeat evil," the manufacturers declare.
"Spiritual Warfare" which, it is claimed, is the top Christian game now selling in the US, is a close relation to "Nintendo". But instead of Ninja Turtles, the heroes of the hour are medieval knights clad in steel and repre senting bits of the "armour of God" mentioned in St Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
