King George VI and His People. By Philip Pancth. (Alliance Press, 35. 6d.)
Reviewed by MARIAN CURD
King George VI is a remarkable potpourri of information about our King and Empire.
The author—an international journalist—has tried with success to stand aloft and survey British Constitutional practice and Empire relations from an international point of flew, his present day comparison of our Empire with the Pan-American Coalition makes interesting reading.
There are 16 pages of very good photographs showing events in the life of the Royal Family—mostly of the homely sort.
