POPE JOHN'S EASTER MESSAGE

POPE JOHN XXIII will broadcast his annual Easter message to the world on Holy Saturday, April 21, at S p.m. The message will he carried by Vatican Radio and many radio systems throughout the world.
ope John's participation in Holy Week ceremonies will begin on Palm Sunday, April 15, when he takes part in the blessing of the Palms in St. Peter's Basilica and offers Mass there.
In Holy Thursday he will go to the Basilica of St. John Lateran to officiate at the consecration of 12 Cardinal Deacons as bishops. On Good Friday he will go to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls to join in the celebration of that day's Liturgy. he Pope will again offer Mass in St. Peter's Basilica on Easter Morning. itt 12.30 p.m. he will appear on the centre balcony of the Basilica to give his blessing to the city and to the world.
