Archbishop Casaroli on U.S. visit

One of Pope Paul's top diplomats, Archbishop Agostino Casaroli, is in the United States for a "private visit" during which he will have talks with two major international study groups.
Archbishop Casa rol secretary of the Vatican's Coliiidl for the Church's Public Affairs. Nfr ill hold "private friendly conversations and meetings" with the Council on Foreign Affairs in New York and the Washington Institute Of Foreign Affairs in Washington.
The Archbishop's \ isit to America is strictly private in nature, although it is espeeted that in the course of hih Visit he Vi ill ha C tri opportunity to See various U.S. Government officials.
Precise details of his itinerary were not announced by the Vatican when he left Rome last week. Talks will centre on the major problems of social justice and international peace.
• Fr. John Bukovsky of the Divine Word, an American priest assigned to the
archbishop's office, is accompanying Archbishop Casaroli.
