Pope receives yoga teacher

DOPE PAUL this week re-1received in private audience the world's outstanding teacher of yoga, B. K. S. Iyengar. The Pope's interest in his w o rk was stimulated by accounts he had heard of the work being done at a school in India where a number of priests are studying yoga under one of Mr. lyengar's former pupils.
The Pope also read Mr. Iyengar's book Light on Yoga and wrote to the author to express his interest in the subject. Mr. Yehudi Menuhin, the violinist, is one of Mr. Iyengar's best known pupils.
