Two Bishops for Ireland

THE Holy Father. it was an
nounced on Wednesday, has appointed Mgr. Augustin Quinn, VicarGeneral of Armagh, to be Bishop of Kilmore in place of the late Bishop Lyons, and Canon Vincent Hanly, Apostolic Administrator of Elphin, to be Bishop of Elphin. Three new American Bishops were announced on the same day. They are: Mgr. George Rehring, Auxiliary Bishop of Cincinnati. to be Bishop of Toledo; Fr. Francis, parish priest of St. Mary's, Portland. Oregon. to he Bishop of Baker City. Oregon. and Fr, Leo Pursley, parish priest of St. John the Baptist's. Fort Wayne, to be Auxiliary Bishop of Fort Wayne.
