Many Belgian Catholics in London attended Benediction on Friday in the Church of Our Lady of Hal. Camden Town, to celebrate their National Day and the return of King Leopold.
The Te Delon was intoned by the rector, Fr. van Zuyt. in thanksgiving for the King's return, news of which had only just reached London.
Present were the Belgian Ambassador. the Prince and Princess de Merode. and representatives of several Belgian organisations.
All joined fervently in singing the 13eIgian National Anthem,
