THE Holy Father, it is an
nounced from Archbishop's House, Westminster, has created Mr. Desmond Mulvany, M.S., F.R.C.S., and Dr. Patrick Corridan, M.D.Cardinal Griffin's doctors— Knights of St. Gregory the Great.
Mr. Mulvany and Dr. Corridan are members of the honorary medical staff of the hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth. London.
The honour has been bestowed Upon them in recognition of their services to His Eminence and to many priests and religious.
Alderman Too
The Pope has also conferred a Knighthood of St. Gregory the Great upon Alderman J. Sullivan, of Southend, for his services to the Brentwood diocese and the Church in the Southend and Westcl,ff area.
