Bexteyheath

[should very much like to interest you in a small news item. Father Austin, Parish Priest of SI. John Vianney Church, Bexleyheath, is retiring after thirty years or selfless and devoted service to his parishioners.
About twenty years ago he and Fewer than a hundred stalwart parishioners pledged themselves to the building of a fine new church to replace the hut which then served as the church. The new church which has now been opened and paid for these past twelve years or so stands NS :1 line monument to Father Austin and those early parishioners whom he so inspired. Most of these early parishioners have now left the parish or are dead and the retirement of Father Austin is sad news to the lea' who remain.
The spiritual life of the parish runs deep and we owe i great debt of gratitude to Father Austin which we' hope to demonstrate in some small measure with a presentation after a concert in a lineal hall, Jr you feel able to mention this in the Catholic Herald you might also feel able to mention that past parishioners may make a donation lowards the presentation through Wm the address below.
