The Huddleston Story
Sir,-1 was delighted to see the splendid letter from Miss Laval. As one who was one of the 7.000 who heard Fr. Huddleston speak at the Albert Hall last Tuesday, there is no shadow of doubt that this good man is the last to seek self-advertisement.
"Inasmuch as ye did it not unto the least of these . . . ye did it not unto me" is the text he has always in mind.
As he left the Hall (by a side door, unpretentiously). three African negroes ran across the roadway and flung themselves almost into his arms, with cries of joy. It was a most moving spectacle, and spoke volumes. M. C. Cole. 63, Alexandra Road.
