African Wildlife

Animals in Africa, by Peter and Philippa Scott (Cassell, 63s.). HIS is the story of a journey through the National Parks of Kenya and to the Murchison Falls Park in Uganda. where the wild animals of Africa live unmolested by man. Peter Scott's descriptions are in the easy relaxed style now so familiar on the TV screen: his wife Philippa took the photographs which appear on every page, some in full colour. In his introduction, Peter Scott quotes King George VI. "The wildlife of today is not ours to dispose of as We please. We have it in trust. and must account for it to those who come after", which sums up his own great interest in the campaign to save the world's wildlife. This hook represents a contribution to this campaign and part of its proceeds will he donated to the the World Wildlife Fund. of which Peter Scott is the chairman. D.E.M.
