Masses for the Queen ' s return

Cardinal Griffin has directed that on Sunday, May 16, thanksgiving be made for the safe return of Her Majesty The Queen from her visit to the Commonwealth countries.
On that day. the day after the arrival of Her Majesty in London, a Mass of thanksgiving will be offered in each church of the diocese and the "Te Deum" is to be said or sung at the end of the Mass.
The Cardinal will himself assist at Solemn Mass in Westminster Cathedral at 10.30 that morning.
Mass in Adelaide
While the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were attending a service on Sunday in Adelaide's Anglican Cathedral, Pontifical High Mass was celebrated in his Cathedral by Archbishop Beovich for the Queen and the Royal Family and for peace and prosperity for her people.
