An Abbot visits Suffolk Missions

Dom Christopher Butler, 0.S.B., Abbot of Downside, crossed England on Sunday to visit two parishes in Suffolk which were established years ago as missions of Downside.
Parishioners from surrounding villages went to meet him at St. Berta's, Beccles, where he was solemnly received by the parish priest, Fr. Benet hones, O.S.B.
At Bungay, miles away, he visited Fr. J. S. Chatterton. 0.S.B., who has been a Benedictine for more than 50 years.
