The Pope's Health

The Pope is still suffering sonic pain in his left leg caused by his resumption of walking last week. He rests for some hours every day.
His rare visitors are amazed at the cheerfulness and lightheartedness of the Holy Father's disposition, but are struck, too, by his paleness.
His Holiness still hopes to hold a consistory, and with the object a special chair, eonstructed as a throne, is being made for him.
We regret to announce the sudden death of Sir Augustus BartelĀ°, Judge of His Majesty's Court of Appeal in Malta.
A special memoir appears among the obituaries.
