NORWAY WON'T BE DICTATOR'S LAP-DOG

A powerfully-worded appeal to her fellow Norwegians by the famous Catholic Norwegian writer, Sigrid Undset, a Nobel Prize winner, was publathed at the same time as reports were received that a well-aimed Norwegian AA gun brought down a German bomber on the next house to hers at Lillehammer.
The authoress escaped injury, but her words have proved a popular propaganda weapon for the loyalists.
" The old lion in the Norwegian coat of arms may have given the world the Impression that it was a very tame creature," she said, appealing to Norwegians to fight, " but when men who we are ashamed and disgusted to admit are Norwegians, think they can sell this land to become a Dictator's lapdog, they must be taught a lesson, for they have made the mistake of their lives."—B.U.P.
