"The African Missionary"

The editor of the African Missionary would appear to be a man richly fortunate in his literary friends and helpers, a circumstance which naturally enriches his readers also. It is a revelation to open a few recent issues of the magazine, a modest twopenny monthly, and to come upon such names as Fr. Martindale, Sheila KayeSmith, Dr. Fulton Sheen, the late 0. K. Chesterton, and Stanley B. James, among the galaxy of writers.
Published from Cork as the official organ of the African Missions Society in Ireland, The African Missionary deserves to be widely known and supported also on this side of the Irish Sea. A personal study of Pope Pius XI, from Fr. Martindale's pen, is in the two latest numbers. That article alone ought to send up the sales.
