CHURCH INTO STABLE

A church at Lwow—one of the largest in Poland—has boon turned into a stable. Other churches have been converted into cinemas; monasteries and convents have been requisitioned; Church vestments are being used for theatrical shows, and the wearing of ecclesiastical robes and sale of religious literature are banned.
Widespread Desecration
The Vatican radio has accused the Soviet of widespread desecration and religious persecution in Soviet-occupied Poland. Bishops, both Catholic and Orthodox, are being persecuted.
