CELEBRATION AT MOUNT ST. MARY'S It is anticipated that Cardinal Hint. ley will be present at the centenary celebratioos of Mount St. Mary's, the Jesuit public school in Derbyshire, which are taking place this week-end on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There have been Jesuits in the neighhood ever since the Reformation and the date of the foundation of the mission at Spinkhill is given in the records of the Nottingham diocese as " about 1600," although the present church of the Immaculate Conception was not consecrated and opened until September 21 and 22, 1846, four years later than the establishment of Mount St. Mary's College.
