St Augustine's: the Catholic view

From representatives of the Catholic Community of Oxfordshire Sir, As representatives of the Catholic community in the City of Oxford and surrounding area of the County of Oxfordshire, we wish to reaffirm our strong support for the statement made by the Most Reverend Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Birmingham, on the establishment of a Catholic Secondary School in the City of Oxford.
We also fully support the original recommendations of the Chief Education Officer to the elected members of the Local Education Committee during their meeting of 2nd February 2000 for the inclusion of a Catholic Secondary School in the reorganisation of the schools in the City of Oxford.
