l'HANK GOODNESS the position on Freemasonry has been made precise again.
For a Catholic, it should not matter whether the group concerned are, or arc not involved in Anti-Catholic activity. It matters enough that the organisation is a "Secret
Solciety. If lo' out to a meeting and promise not to tell even my wife what took place there, the whole thing is wrong. If it needs to be secret, by definition it has something to hide. Catholics must be open, and honestly seen to be so, at all times.
Thankyou Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. We need more of this clear-cut direction, to keep the Church on its right course. Rowland Adams, ABIPP Christchurch,
Dorset.
