Bishop Halsall-himself a scouter -at a meeting of the committee of the Catholic Scout Advisory Council on Sunday presented the Papal Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice to Mr. Cornelius A. Joyce, the council's vice-chairman.
Mr. Joyce, for 10 years hon. secretary of the City of Westminster Boy Scouts Association, organised a pilgrimage of 1,320 scouts and scouters to Rome for the Holy Year, and is now organising a big scent! pilgrimage to Lourdes next year.
