From Alan McElwain in Rome
DOPE PAUL this week received the special Birth Control Commission report on which he will now base his eagerly-awaited statement to the world. How long this will take him to prepare is causing intense speculation in Vatican and other circles. The report is said to run into about 500 pages, summarising the views of medical, theological, sociological and other specialists on marriage and family life and planning, drawn from various parts of the world.
