With Bishop Grimshaw and "The Friends of St. Michael's," the Daughters of the Cross of Liege celebrated on Saturday the 50t1 anniversary of their arrival at Hayle, Cornwall.
They began with a nursing home and built St. Michael's Hospital in 1914. and IS years later the large church was opened. St. Michael's remains a voluntary hospital and still provides almost the only accommodation in the St. Ives and Hayle area.
Cleethorpe's priest
A former student of St. Mary's School, Cirimsby, the Rev. Joseph Vincent Henry, son of Mr. and the late Mrs. J. Henry, was ordained priest by Bishop Ellis of Nottingham on Sunday at Corpus Christi Church. Cleethorpes, where as a boy he was an altar server.
