MR REG FREESON, Minister of Housing and Construction, is to

visit Liverpool to discuss the problems of the inner city with Archbishop Worlock and Dr David Sheppard, Anglican Bishop of Liverpool.
The two church leaders wrote to Mr Freeson earlier this month urging that senior representatives of the department should visit the city to meet those involved with community projects and discuss the need for government intervention to stem inner city decay which has reached crisis point in many cities such as Liverpool.
