Cardinal Conway told to rest

Cardinal William Conway, aged 62, Primate of All Ireland, was this week diagnosed as suffering from cardiac strain-and told to rest for six weeks.
The Cardinal, who lives in Armagh, Northern Ireland, will be unable to visit Rome next month for the canonisation of Blessed Oliver Plunkett. modern trend returned to the right path, Bishop Gijsen's remarks have special significance at the present time. Following the resignation of Cardinal Alfrink on reaching retirement age, the Dutch Church is awaiting the appointment of a successor.
