Princess Elizabeth Day
The Princess Elizabeth Day Autumn Appeal (a combined collection in the Metropolis for the principal children's societies) will be made on Saturday, September 27. The appeal benefits, among other societies, the Crusade of Rescue and the Southwark Rescue Society.
A rally will take place at Battersea Town Hall ort Sunday, October 19, under the auspices of the South-West London Catholic Social Guild. Cardinal Griffin, Archbishop of Westminster, will preside. Speakers will include Mr. Richard O'Sullivan, K.C., and Mr. Calm Brogan.
S.V.P., Middlesex
The South-West Middlesex Particular Councils of the S.V.P. will hold their annual Day of Recollection on Sunday, September 28, at St. Edmund's, Whitton.
Catholic Drama
The Catholic Drama League will be holding a " Summer School " weekend at Soli House, Stratford-on-Avon, from September 20 to 21. The weekend will be run as a short " Shakes. perean Festival."
Newman Association

A new branch of the Association of Catholic Trade Unionists is being formed at St. Osburgh's, Coventry, and the inaugural meeting is being held there next Sunday at 3.30 p.m.
A public meeting ofthe Eden Grove Deanery branch will be held at St. Joseph's School Hall, Highgate Hill, on Monday, September 22. It will commence at 8 o'clock. Facilities will be available for the enrolment of new members. Catholic trade unionists from the parishes of Highgate, Highbury, Holloway, Kentish Town, Kingsland and ToIlingtan Park are invited.
