Repairs to Nottingham Cathedral Vital repairs to the exterior fabric

of St. Barnabas Cathedral, Nottingham, are now being carried out. It was found that the heavy stone crosses on the roof of the south transept and at the west end of the Cathedral were no longer safe. These are now being repaired. As soon as the war is over, the administrator, the Rev. Edward Ellis, hopes to be able to carry out a comprehensive scheme of interior redecoration and restoration.
