" Something Doing All Day" At The Catholic Exhibition

From Our Own Correspondent
BIRMINGHAM.
The Rev. F. V. Farrell, pariah priest of St. Philip's, Smethwick, Will be undertaking the main burden of the organisation of the Catholic Exhibition to be held in Birmingham, at Bingley Hall, from
— July 5 to 17.
The exhibition will be opened on July 5 by Mgr. Masterson, Archbishop of Birmingham, and will then be open daily at 11.30 a.m.
The main exhibit will be that of the Association for the Propagation of the Faith, which will hold its annual meeting in Birmingham, and there will be a Pontifical High Mass for the Association on July 17, which will conclude the proceedings. The Catholic Truth Society will hold a Box-Tenders' Conference and its annual general meeting on Saturday, July 9. On Sunday, July 19, there will be Pontifical High Mass at St. Chad's Cathedral with a sermon by Cardinal Griffin, and a Catholic Rally in the afternoon at the Town Hall, at which the principal speakers will be, it is still hoped, the Cardinal and Miss Barbara Ward.
"This will be the biggest Catholic event in the Midlands for at least twenty-five years " said Fr. Farrell speaking on the proposed exhibition. "There will be something going on all dare-demonstrations by schools,
ficonfserences, and showing of Catholic lm
" I am hopeful that all Catholic societies will be represented; and I confidently expect that at least twenty-five thousand people will come to the Exhibition."
