THEY ALL RESIGNED When a Nazi ' was Appointed
Following the appointment by the Reichskommissar in Hollantrof a Nazi Commissar as head of all the Dutch Workers' Unions, both Catholic and Protestant, all the members of the executive of these bodies have resigned.
The Dutch bishops have had an appeal read out its. all the churches urging the faithful to contribute to a fund for the assistance of any of these loyal Dutchmen who by their action may find themselves in need.
The German controlled wireless of the country continues to fulminate against this act of Christian sympathy on the part of the Dutch bishops.
Another message from Holland reports the death of the Rev. Fr. .1. Van Werelt, O.P. who was Procurator-General for the Netherlands Province of the Dominicans.
