ALONDON church which can claim special associations with the first and second Cardinal Archbishops of Westminster Cathedral is celebrating its centenary this Sunday. It is the Church of St. Charles Bon-omeo. in Ogle Street. The church's foundation stone was laid by Provost Manning. the future Cardinal, and the church was opened nine months later by Cardinal Wiseman. Francis Bentley, architect of Westminster Cathedral, designed the church's high altar.
The centenary Mass will be sung this Sunday, 10.30 a.m., by Bishop Craven, Vicar Capitular, with the St. Gabriel Singers choir conducted by Fr. Wilfrid Purney.
