The Pope has appointed Fr. P. Kalwa, Bishop of Lublin. The diocese was left vacant by the appointment of Mgr. Wyszynski, as Archbishop of Warsaw and Primate of Poland. Mgr. Kalwa, born in 1893, was from 1935 professor at the Catholic University in Lublin.
