A FORMER Osterley priest was the principal celebrant at a

Mass recently for the patronal feast day of Campion House, Osterley.
The Very Rev Dermot McCaul SMA, Provincial Superior of the African Mission Society, began his studies for the priesthood at Osterley in 1958.
During his homily he sp6ke of the work for late vocations at Campion House, and of his own personal growth in faith, which owed much to the example of Fr Clement Tigar and the lay staff who taught him there.
Some 30 priests, representing dioceses, religious and missionary congregations concelebrated. Fr Patrick Joseph Fegan IC, one of the '85 vintage ex-Osterley newlyordained priests, was guest of honour.
Over a hundred guests (vocations directors, benefactors, parents of students) attended the Mass, and the buffet afterwards.
Celebrations continued at Tyburn Convent on the following day, when all the College attended a Mass in honour of St Edmund Campion.
There are 36 students at Osterley, representing 14 dioceses and seven religious and missionary congregations.
