Mr. Pat Keegan, National President of the Young Christian Workers, has been appointed International Secretary of the movement, which now has more than a million members in 50 different countries, according to the Canadian Y.C.W. Press Service.
gates, from 30 different countries, are expected to attend the conferences at the University, where Canon Joseph Cardijn, founder and international chaplain of the movement, will receive an honorary degree of Doctor of Social, Economic and Political Sciences.

Cardinal Rodriguez, Archbishop of Santiago and Primate of Chile, the director of the first Pan-American Congress of the Young Christian Workers in Santiago, two years ago, in a letter made public recently, announced that a Chilean delegation will be present for the International Study Week.
" The future of Catholicism in Brazil is in the hands of Catholic Action, and in particular, the Young Christian Workers," the Rev. Theodore M. Kokke, a missionary priest of the Holy Family of Belgium. declared in a recent Press interview in Montreal. Representing the Most Rev. Don Mario Vilas Bras, D.D., Archbishop of Belem, Brazil, Fr. Kokke is studying advance methods in the organisation of Canadian Jocism.
