A PICTURE about bullfighting in the current issue of Ark. the organ of the Catholic Study Circle for Animal Ils'elfare prompts me to refer to the evil.
Pope Pius V regarded bullfighting as a spectacle for demons rather than men. and excommunicated all who took part in it. (Encyclical De Salute Gregis, 1567o, "Boycott the bullfight."
