P o you live in London? Are you interested in learning
more about boarding for your child? Join us at Westminster Cathedral Hall on Thursday, 18th September to hear more about the benefits of boarding at Stonyhurst, one of the country's leading Catholic schools.
There will be an opportunity to meet the Headmaster, pupils and boarding staff at a Stonyhurst Reception and buffet at Westminster Cathedral Hall on Thursday, 18th September Stonyhurst is a leading Roman Catholic school in the Jesuit Charism providing co-education for boarders from the age of 718 and we are a popular choice for London parents. Stonyhurst is only 2.5 hours by train from London and we provide regular private travel services to and from central London at half-terms, the beginning and end of every term, Stonyhurst College was founded in 1593 and is one of the oldest Jesuit colleges in the world. Set in 2,500 acres of rural Lancashire, Stonyhurst attaches particular importance to the emotional and spiritual development of pupils as well as academic excellence.
Our boarding pupils come to us from all over the country and from many parts of the world. Education at Stonyhurst is based on the ideals of St Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, known throughout the world as Jesuits. The history of achievement attained by many who have attended Stonyhurst is a testament to the teaching and development of the whole person — culturally and academically within a collaborative and caring school community.
Scholarships and Bursaries are available and there will be an opportunity to discuss these at the Reception.
We would like to extend an invitation to all parents who want to hear more about the benefits of a boarding school for their children and to attend the Reception hosted by Stonyhurst staff and pupils.
If you are unable to attend the Reception in London but would like to find out more, receive a prospectus, or visit Stonyhurst, please contact the Admissions Office; 01254 827 073 or email : [email protected]
