THE Holy Father has appointed Fr. Denis Patrick Wall and Fr. Ernest Standen, both of Bishop's House, Southwark, to be Papal Chamberlains, with the title of Very Rev. Monsignor.
Fr. Eugene Cotter, of Walworth, Fr. Terence Scanlan. of St. Leonards, Fr. Charles de Laubenque, of Canterbury, Fr. Owen McManus. of Dockhead. and Fr. Denis Hawkins, of Godalming, have been appointed honorary canons of the Southwark Chapter. Mgr. Wall is chancellor of the diocese. Mgr. Standen is one of the Bishop's secretaries.
