gress of the Apostleship of Prayer is being held in Rome from September 20 to 28. All the 60 countries in which the Apostleship exists will be represented.
Congresses of the Apostleship, held at wide intervals, usually have a large attendance from each of the countries. The last was in 1948. This special congress—in the centenary year of the extension of the Feast of the Sacred Heart to the whole world—will be attended by only the national secretaries of each country and the national editors of "The Messenger of the Sacred Heart," the Apostleship magazine.
Fr. L. Haase, S.J., who holds both offices here, will represent England.
The general topic for discussion will he the Apostleship and the pastoral care of souls. The aim of the Apostleship is the offering of prayer, works and reparation to Clod, especially by devotion to the Sacred Heart.
