Vatican Radio announces that Pere Yves de la Brien:, Si., has died in Buenos Aires. Fr. de la Briere has been for many years Editor of the French Jesuit review, Etudes. This paper corresponds in France to the Month in England, though it appears fortnightly.
Fr. de is Briere was one of the best-known Jesuits of the Paris Province and perhaps the most distinguished French Catholic sociologist.
