Catholic Priests' Association Membership

A'R. GODDEN (July 7) can hardly expect that the Catholic Priests' Association should present to the public a list of all its members, seeing that so many bishops today belong to the "progressive camp" and they would resent their priests being in the association.
In• any organisation Membership is not made public unless the rules of the association demand it. The strength of any society is taken according to statistics published by the competent officials. Fr. Godden questions my integrity in this matter . an action which can hardly be called "charitable," a virtue so important to those of the modernistic school of thought.
No one prays for the end of the C.P.A. more than its members, as they know that when it comes to an end. the Barque of Peter will he sailing once more in calm waters.
(Fr.) John W. Flanagan Secretary, C.P.A.
St. George's Presbytery, Polegatc, Sussex.
