"World Must Pull Itself Together"
—CARDINAL SUHARD " The load must change," states Cardinal Suhard, Archbishop of Paris, in an Assumption Pastoral just issued. " Many people go on living in an irresponsible listlessness, behaving as if they had no eyes to see. But the world must pull itself together and realise the changes now upon us."
The Cardinal goes on to visualise the acceptance by all of a new law " inspired by universal fellow-feeling, where there shall be respect for the liberties of individuals and peoples."
