Our Lady's torch' to be taken across Germany
A torch lit from the votive lights at the shrine of Our Lady of Alienberg. headquarters of the Catholic Youth Association of Germany, will he carried in procession across Western Germany during May as a special tribute to Our Lady.
Runners will carry the light from one town to another after the pattern of the Olympic torch. Southward the towns of Bonn, Mainz. Mannheim, Nurnberg, Regensburg. Augsburg. Munich, Altoetting and Passau are to be eluded. Flensburg. on the Danish border, is to be the northern goal. with the inclusion of Duesseldorf, the Ruhr region, Muenster, Osnabrueck, Bremen, Hildesheim and Hamburg.
