All systems at 'go

LEN SMITH, headmaster of St Michael's School, Garston, Watford, Hertforshire, tells me that its computer department will begin full operation at the start of next term. On Monday, September 23 at 7.30pm for Elpm, the department will be officially opened.
The establishment of the department, equipped with a BBC network, has required a great deal of effort. The school's caretaker, Luke Coughlan, has given up weeks of his free time to adapt the room, very skilfully, to its new purpose. Sue Long will be the head of department.
Bishop O'Brien, the County's Education Officer, and GaretJones, MP, have been invited to be present.
